In addition to her work as a makeup artist, Amy also specializes in eyebrow shaping and micropigmentation, also known as permanent makeup for Eyebrows, Eyeliner, Lips and 3D Areola Repigmentation in her Upper East Side location. Her expertise has earned her acknowledgment from numerous magazines, including Elle Magazine, Lucky Magazine and Allure Magazine (Best Eyebrows from Broadway to La Brea) as well as a television appearance on Lifetime TV’s Matched in Manhattan. Amy has had the pleasure of working with celebrities such as Andie MacDowall, Jules Asner, Ingrid Hoffmann, Cat Cora, Kaitlin Wachs, Kathy Hilton, George Foreman and Antoine Fischer.
Amy is licensed by the NYC Health Department and is OSHA compliant. Additionally, she is a licensed cosmetologist and certified micropigmentation artist . Amy is also a Certified Permanent Cosmetic Professional (CPCP) and is a member in good standing with the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP). She was trained under the direction of Susan Church at the International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics.
Maryann Langer is an experienced permanent cosmetics professional. Her unique approach is based on her practice as a fine artist. Maryann uses the face as a blank canvas—employing a careful painterly approach in her work, resulting in elegant, natural and more youthful faces.
Maryann received her training at the Skin and Makeup Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2007. She is certified by the Academy of Advanced Aesthetics and Permanent Cosmetics and licensed by the Beau Institute of Permanent Cosmetics—recognized worldwide for its comprehensive curriculum. Maryann studied under the owner and industry pioneer Rose Marie Beauchemin. Rose Marie has become a personal friend and mentor. Maryann continually pursues her passion for makeup artistry with events and classes at The Powder Group in NYC.
